Voci del cinema (amatoriale) femminista

70s Italian feminist film crosses the path of amateur cinema in different ways creating the possibility of a space of freedom and creativity. In retrospective though, this link shows the fragility and marginality of this production. The presentation will focus on this topic spotlighting some cases studies.

Annamaria Licciardello will be presented by Laure Federicioni (CAP) and Basil Mudry (BA Fine Arts).

 Bio: Film curator, historian and archivist with a special focus on Italian experimental and militant cinema from the 60s and 70s, she wrote a monograph on Alberto Grifi’s cinema (2017) and edited a book on Paolo Gioli (Paolo Gioli. Un cinema dell'impronta, edited with Sergio Toffetti, 2009) and on Flatform (Flatform. Films and works 2008-2019, 2019), and wrote essays published in reviews and books. She collaborated with several film festivals and institutions. Since 2007 she works at CSC-Cineteca Nazionale (National Film Archive).
