Karen Amanda Moser (*1988, CH) lives and works in Bern. Moser completed her BA in Fine Arts at the Bern University of the Arts and subsequently her MA, also in Fine Arts, at the St.Lucas School of Art in Antwerp, Belgium. From 2019 to 2022, Moser studied Art History and Philosophy at the University of Bern to deepen her concept- and research-based practice. As part of the City of Thun's studio grants in Genoa in 2018 and the Canton of Bern's at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris in 2023, the artist increasingly devoted herself to an exploration of museum institutions and value systems. In 2019, Moser received the Aeschlimann/Corti grant. Her works have been shown in group exhibitions at the Kunstmuseum Thun, the Kunsthallen Basel and Bern, the Extra City Kunsthal Antwerp, the Centre d'art Pasquart Biel and the Stadtgalerie Bern, among others. The latter is currently presenting Karen Amanda Moser's first institutional solo exhibition “Vision d'intérieur”, for which a publication has also been published.
