Delphine Chapuis Schmitz (b. 1979 in Boulogne-Billancourt, France, lives in Basel, Switzerland) is engaged in a transdisciplinary practice exploring embodied ways of making sense and the poietic potential of language(s) beyond dominant categories and traditional forms of understanding. 

Her texts range from art and experimental writings to poetry, and take shape as performative readings, installative environments, as well as (online) publications depending on the context of their occurrence.

She co-edits DEARS, magazine for transversal writing practices, collaborated to numerous publications both in the academic and the artistic field, works as a translator on a regular basis, and teaches as a tenured lecturer at the Zurich University of the Arts.
